Glacier NP
This was at the beginning of the trip to Alaska. Glacier has few glaciers left as the warming climate has dramatically reduced them. I am going to mix in some of my 2009 trip with these.
Glacier NP sits on the border with Canada. Part of the park mountain range extends up into the area of Banff Canada NP. It is an area of extreme beauty, although mountainous. The road that the mountain sheep was on is called “the Road to the Sun”. Vehicles are restricted to 23 feet, so I just fit. There are many mountain streams coming down off glaciers. The red touring vehicles have been taking tourists up and down the mountain for over 80 years. They were originally made by Ford Motor Company.
