Coral Castle

Found in South Florida, this work of art was entirely made by one man, a diminutive emigrant to the USA.

As you enter, the old coin drop is still evident, but the price has gone up to $5.00 or so. The entire area was built by one man, a little 100 lb man, who worked alone. Nobody ever knew his secrets how he cut and moved huge stone blocks with no big cranes or tractors. He cut all the stone from petrified beds of sea shells. Cutting chairs, tables, deco objects, he decorated a whole acre alongside a main Florida hiway. He finished in 1951, and showed it to tourists for many more years.
